I just like to make cool shit.
I'm extremely passionate about making. In 2018, I completed an MA focusing in Creative Technology and UX/UI Design, where I learned to bridge the gap between making art and creating experiences. My graduate work explores the ways people experience physical spaces—especially liminal spaces—and how they can be enhanced to spark joy and pique curiosity. Technology often gets a bad rap for decreasing the amount of joy in our lives, but I believe it still has the potential to make our lives more magical.
In addition to my graduate studies, I hold a BFA in Visual Arts. Following undergrad, I spent three years working as a graphic designer and social media manager for a public outreach team working towards coastal wetland restoration in my home state of Louisiana.
When I’m not creating, I like to spend my free time with my husband and our new daughter, curling up with a good book, and trying to determine how many times I can binge-watch The Office before I get sick of it (the answer is I never will).
